Anglia Square’s Egg-cellent Easter Crafts

Anglia Square’s Egg-cellent Easter Crafts

Easter is just around the corner, and we couldn’t be more egg-cited!

Easter is the first opportunity we have to decorate for Spring and bring some sunshine into each corner of our homes. Try our two easy crafts for family fun over the Easter holidays and fill your homes with Spring colour and cheer.

Anglia Square has everything you need to keep the kids entertained this half term. You can find craft supplies from  Poundland and stock up on Easter Chocolate from QD and Savers. Don’t forget to pick up some hot cross buns from Iceland!

To get crafty this Easter you will need:

Coloured card

Bunny garland template (download here)

String

Pom poms

Glue

Cellotape

Scissors

Permanent marker

Bunny Garland

First up is our cute and colourful bunny garland which is easy to make using our template, coloured paper and pom poms from Poundland.

Method:

Print out or draw around the template.

Trace and cut around the template on your coloured paper. We recommend cutting out 5-10 Bunnies.

Cut your string to an appropriate length for your garland, adjust the length depending on where you want to hang it!

Glue the pompoms to the Bunnies as their tails.

Glue the bunnies to the string and hang your garland!

Easter Bunny Party Hat

Next up are our Easter bunny themed party hats, perfect to dress for the occasion for an Easter Egg hunt or to turn sitting down to eat your Easter lamb into a party!

Method:

Cut the corners from a piece of card to make a circle. Then, cut a narrow triangle starting from the outside to the centre.

Fold the card to form a cone shape by overlapping the two cut corners.

From a new piece of card, cut out two small circles and a triangle for the Bunny’s eyes and nose, as well as long thin rectangles for the whiskers (these can also be painted!).

Glue the eyes, nose and whiskers to the hat.

Cut two slits in the side of the hat (for the ears).

Cut out the ears and fold at the bottom ¼ of the way up.

Insert the ears and secure with tape.

Draw a mouth with the permanent marker.

Attach string to each side of the hat and tie around the head.

That’s all, yolks. Enjoy your Easter party!
