
26 Mar Easy Easter Nest Cakes
You can never have too much chocolate at Easter! These Easter nest cakes are an Easter classic that you simply cannot go wrong with and the whole family are bound to be pleased with.
Head to Poundland, QD or Savers at Anglia Square to pick up your ingredients whilst shopping for essentials and keep the kids happy and entertained this Easter with this simple and fun bake.

For our Easter nest cakes you will need:
150g Dark Chocolate
100g Rice Crispy cereal
50g Butter
Mini Eggs
2 Tbsp Honey
12 hole muffin tin
Cupcake cases
Method:
Line your muffin tin with cupcake cases
Break up the chocolate and place into a microwave-safe bowl with the butter and honey.
Heat in the microwave in 30 second bursts until melted, keep stirring inbetween!
Add the rice crispy cereal to the bowl and mix until coated in the chocolate.
Divide the mixture into the 12 cases.
Press down the top of each cake with the back of the spoon to make a slight hollow.
Place mini eggs in each hollow.
Put the cakes in the fridge for an hour or so to set (be patient!)
